Felicity Jones is an British actor who gained fame for playing the role of Jane Hawking in the critically highly acclaimed film The Theory of Everything. Jones is acting since when she was 12 years old and performed in various film and TV plays. Her first role was in the film on television The Treasure Seekers. She then played the role of Ethel Hallow another television show named The Worst Witch and its sequel Weirdsister College. Her debut film, Flashbacks of a Fool included her in the role of Young Ruth. Since then she has appeared in several films. In films like The Invisible Woman or The Amazing Spider-Man 2 She became popular for her performances. However, it was the performance she gave on The Theory of Everything that brought her an Oscar for the very first time. Jones was praised by the critics and viewers alike because she played the character of Hawking's former wife, in the Stephen Hawking biopic. She was then seen in Inferno which was a horror film that starred Tom Hanks. In the year 2016, the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles announced Jones for the position of British Artist of The Year for her contributions and talents to cinema.
