Sarah is the daughter of two professors from the University of Hawaii. She was born Sarah Anne Callies. She's an accomplished American actor best known for playing Sara Tancredi on the Fox TV show Prison Break with co-star Wentworth Miller and Lori Grimes on AMC's The Walking Dead. Maxim named her one of the most beautiful females for the fall of television 2008. Callies moved to New York in 2003 and soon landed her first role on television as Kate O'Malley, a recurring character on the short-lived CBS program Queens Supreme. Her debut role as the lead role was as the detective Jane Porter from The WB's Tarzan.
