Audrey Tautou

Audrey Tautou is the youngest of four children born August 9, 1976, at Beaumont Puy de Domme. Her parents a dental surgeon and a teacher recognised and encouraged her passion for acting and theatre from a young age which superseded an initial desire to become a primatologist due to her love of monkeys. She rose to prominence as a child actress quickly and enjoyed enormous popularity and success. Before she began to pursue her acting career, she was a participant in Jeunes Premiers a French talent search TV program which was a part of Canal+ in 1998. She also won the title of Best Young Actress at the Beziers Festival of Young Actors. Tautou was raised in a Catholic home and went to church, even though she went to school in school at the Institut Catholique de Paris. She pursued a modelling career along with her acting career. She is the face of L'Oreal Mont Blanc and Chanel often referred to as The Chanel Muse. She is a keen photographer and produced a recent exhibition at the Arles International Festival that was titled Superficial. Her photographs concentrates on fame and fame. The camera's focus is on journalists who examined her rise to fame in Amelie. Audrey Tautou's first big part, playing Amelie Poulain's leading actress in Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amelie poulain, earned her fame to the world. Amelie was recognized internationally for its box office success. The film was also recognized at awards ceremonies across the world. It is the top-grossing French film to be released in the United States. The success of this movie led Tautou to a variety of roles, including British dramas like Dirty Pretty Things by Stephen Knight and Jean Pierre Jeunet to Hollywood's The Da Vinci Code with Tom Hanks.
