Annie Mist Thorisdottir of Reykjavik Iceland is a CrossFit athlete. She is the co-owner of Crossfit Reykjavik where she also is a coach and trainer. Annie is the only woman ever to win CrossFit Games on two occasions. She was second in both the 2010 and 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir is an Icelanders CrossFit weightlifter athlete and media-star. She has gained fame for being the first woman ever to win twice at CrossFit Games: in 2011 and 2012. A winner at the Dubai Fitness Competition 2013 and 2017, Annie is well-known. Annie together with her parents and her siblings, was born in Reykjavik Iceland. As a kid, she has been a sport and fitness enthusiast. The first time she participated was time in 2009 at the CrossFit Games in California in which she performed well. Annie Thorisdottir was aged 31 (by the year 2021). She stands at 5' 7" tall, and weighs around 67 pounds. Annie was the first to begin CrossFit Training in California in the year 2009. The first time she competed, she did very well and finished in the top 10 among 70. But she did not achieve any championships and finished the tournament with 11th rank. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. In CrossFit Games under the guidance of her coach Jami Tikkanen, she came second and took home a silver medal in the same year. The following year, she participated again at CrossFit Games and won them thanks to her outstanding performances. She was the first woman ever to win CrossFit Games. Annie was the first woman who has ever won successive CrossFit Games. In 2012, Annie once again became the CrossFit Games winner due to her outstanding performance. In addition, in 2014 she took home a silver award as well as in 2021, she was awarded the bronze medal at CrossFit Games. Annie is presently a coach and instructor in Crossfit Reykjavik, which she started in the year 2000. Annie is getting fame for her athletic abilities has been featured in commercials for athletic products, such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Nuun Hydration, Yerbae Renaissance Periodization Transparent Labs, among many more.
